The owners are very friendly, attentive and helpful. They gave us crucial advices for dinner, local hiking spots, and (not) driving on to Strasbourg. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was fresh and rich. I absolutely recommend staying here.

A beautiful old house in the quiet town of Herrenwies. With a lovely garden and conservatory next to a burn, with swallows flying around in the Summer - heaven! But what's really special about this place is the host, Jörg, a lovely guy who puts his heart and soul into the delicious breakfast (with homemade marmelade, bread etc) and making you feel at home. Thanks again Jörg, you made our trip!

The whole staff... housekeeping, waitresses, reception, owners... they were so friendly, helpful, and FUN! The restaurant was DELICIOUS and the service outstanding. We were very pleased with the facilities and would definitely recommend! Best shower (water pressure) we had throughout Germany!! Housekeeping was very efficient and our rooms were serviced before we even finished breakfast. Really enjoyed our visit!

The owner was probably the friendliest person I met in my life. He was very helpful. The location was amazing, very quiet and close to the nature. It is also not so far from Mummelsee which was a plus. The parking was also very convenient.
