It's super location Just 3 minutes walk to the lake with life piano and violin performances. 5 minutes to the old town walk which in under 10 minutes of a leisurely walk takes you to the cozy narrow and very long wooden pier. Tons of restaurants on the way ! Fantastic place to stay for both European and American tourists who are driving from place to place to visit all the wonderful towns and attractions of Northern Germany. Very friendly owner and his son. It was a total suprise and all on the upside. Chris

Gutshous Ketelshagen is the perfect destination in Rugen. A beautiful house in the middle of nature ( from your window you can see deers) but still close to the sea (Binz is 20 minutes away). The rooms are super clean, cozy, and well-furnished and the bed is very comfortable - You feel like at home. The house is run by lovely Ruth and Hannah who were super welcoming and very nice.  I had big trouble with my car and they were very helpful with my situation. If you are planning to go to Rugen this house should be your sleeping destination - 10/10.

Breakfasts were very delicious. Kindly personal helped me to solve all my questions (additional keys, early breakfast, washing machine etc). Very nice that there is free parking near. 200 meters to the beach.

The guesthouse is located in a quiet rural area. It’s peaceful and beautiful, with restaurants serving delicious food. The nearest grocery store is about a 5-minute drive away. The bay is a 15-20 minute walk away with a small beach. The sea and a large beach (Glowe) are an 8-minute drive away. All the attractions on Rügen Island (Kap Arkona, national park Jasmund or Sassnitz) are easily accessible by car and are close by. We stayed in the comfortable apartment with a terrace, which was spacious and had a separate bedroom and fully equipped kitchen. Cleanliness was perfect. The overall standard is very high. Free parking is right at the entrance to the apartment.

Just as great as the pictures made it seem. Even when booking last minute. The staff is friendly, the room is clean and comfortable. The location is central. Really everything you'd want in a hotel.
