Exceptional location just next to the Ramsau river and mountains. From the balcony you get to see amazing view of the mountains and nearby beautiful Bavarian style houses. It was warm and cozy inside the room. Nice that we had an exit to the balcony. The local tourist information centre was just in front of the hotel (over the river). Also, we noticed that many hiking trails that lead up to the mountains start very near this hotel. We will definitely come back in spring or summer to enjoy hiking and staying in Bergbach hotel. Moreover a pleasant surprise was the property host who spoke Latvian. He also spoke German, English and Russian. There was an option to get sauna and if we weren’t travelling with kid, would totally recommend trying because of the views you get to see from the sauna. Breakfast offered a wide variety of traditional German/Bavarian breakfast - sausages, two types of omelettes, bread, cheese, various types of meat. Also some sweets and cornflakes. Many juices and drinks (coffee,tea) to choose from. By the way, tea and coffee was for free also outside the breakfast hours.

Beautiful and quiet location, simple and homely atmosphere. Hosts were very helpful. They waited for us without any problems despite our late arrival (standing on the highway for 3 hours due to an accident).

The room was excellent - spacious enough with a lovely view of the mountains. The beds were super comfortable and large, and everything was spotless. The location was perfect, and the breakfast was amazing. The staff was also very friendly. Despite being next to the train station, the room was completely soundproof, with no noise from outside. A wonderful place to stay for a short stop over. The room was very clean with comfortable beds, and the breakfast was exceptional. Checking in was quite straightforward, and although the nearest eating and drinking establishments were quite a trek from the hotel, the owner has provided a fridge stacked with drinks. A bus stop was situated quite close to the hotel as well.
