The owner/receptionist was very nice. although he said his English was not good, it was enough to make us welcome and show us the facilities. Very clean and spacious rooms and well equipped kitchen. Nice outside seating for eating breakfast.

The hôtel has a typical bavarian look and the people are very welcoming. Very nice location, at walking distance from the lake and not far from Starnberg and Tutzing (accessible by car (10min) or S-bahn which is 5min from the hôtel). Proximity with the S-bahn also allows a day-trip to Munich (c. 40min by train). The breakfast is hearty with bavarian and german staples. The restaurant in the evening serves really amazing food with bavarian classics that were absolutely wonderful (best Kartoffelsalat i ever had).

The hotel is very clean, beds are very comfortable, chech in was easy. There is a parking spot in front. Munchen is pretty safe town but you don’t have to care about your car since police station is opposite the street. Definitely perfect and affordable place for a short stay.
