The hotel overlooks Praia Madelena, a beautiful beach. There's a great walk up to headland, and along to the harbour. Staying at this hotel you are also directly in the town center for shops, restaurants etc. I booked a room overlooking the beach and it was comfortable, clean and well designed. All of the fittings are new, well-built, stylish and modern. The mattress and bedding were very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious with good toiletries (including a toothbrush, mini toothpaste and a shaving kit) and ample towels. Breakfast included a choice of quality food and drinks (cereals, yoghurts, toast, fresh bread, conserves, cheese and various kinds of jamon, eggs and bacon, fruit juices, teas and coffee).

Situated in Valdoviño, within 46 km of Marina Sada, LA GALLEGA is an accommodation offering mountain views. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property.

Loved this place. I was there in winter but blessed with beautiful sunny days for hiking on trails with few people. Espasante itself is a beautiful town with a port on one side and lovely beaches on the other. The hotel has been a family run business for generations and it shows in the care they take. The mum is also a keen walker and gave me advice on how to make the most of the great hiking in the area from O Baqueiro back to Espasante and then from Carino to Cape Ortegal and San Andreas de Texeira. Highly recommend both hikes. My hosts gave me directions to take for buses and arranged for Feliciano (local taxi driver) to pick me up at the trail end. Feliciano I can also recommend. Really nice and insisted on a side trip on the way back to see the view from Mirador de Miranda. Magnificent 360 views. The son and daughter run the business during the day and both are really nice, fluent english speakers (which helped a lot given my limited Spanish). I understand they are very busy during the summer but my winter visit was fabulous. The room was simple but clean and warm. No complaints.

Adorable little hotel!! Private room for an incredible price with a really cute atmosphere. Extremely small :D But managed to still have a hotel feel. Would definitely stay here again! Very popular spot to eat!
