Everything! We liked everything! Location: the location was perfect - right across the Ebro River and walking distance to the basilica and plaza de st. Pilar. There was an outdoor artisan market right across the street. Multiple bus stops around the lodging. And walking distance also to “el tubo” and one of the oldest restaurants on the Iberian peninsula. Property: cute, clean, and quiet! The hostess was the sweetest and most helpful person ever. She gave us a map and walked us through some key points of interest to check out. Room: one of the most comfortable beds and pillows we slept on out of 7 places in our trek across Greece, Italy, and Spain. The bathroom was pretty great- the best bathroom we had- roomy shower and not feeling enclosed. We even had a window and a balcony! The ac was also great.

I am so grateful to the nice hosts for this style of accommodation that allows me to travel alone affordably. The room was everything I needed, quaint and without frills, but clean and adequate in every way. The location could not be beat as it was a short walk both to the old town area and out into the "newer" part of the city. It also was located right at multiple bus stops so was convenient in that way as well. Personally I also appreciate the vintage style where I know that I have traveled and am not staying in a soulless hotel that could be anywhere.

Great location, good for transport, food museums etc. Hostal was quiet and there were staff around who were helpful. The shared bathrooms were not a problem at all. There is a lift.
