Check in was easy with the host meeting us and we were able to organise to ring the bell for her to meet us rather than calling which was appreciated as we didn’t have local phone service. The property has a secure gate and we were able to park our car close to the apartment entrance. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great sleep- despite being near a main road it was very quiet. There is air conditioning in the upstairs bedroom area but it was unexpectedly cool so we didn’t need to use this. The kitchen facilities were good for making a meal and a lovely breakfast was provided of fresh baguette with spreads, yoghurt, fruits, cake, and muesli.

My spouse and I enjoyed the bigger room and bathroom with annex TV area. The small kitchenette with fridge, microwave and water cooker had all we needed. Breakfast was included and was nice with croissants, bread, homemade jams, yoghurt and fruit. The charming owners went out of their way to please and make us comfortable. The new A/C in the bedroom was definitely a bonus. The parking area inside the gate was spacious and obviously secure. We were even allowed to leave our bikes and bike carrier inside the garage while visiting the many local castles and towns by car.
