Great host, property is in a brilliant location for a cycling trip. The property has rustic charm and was well equipped. Great shower, fast wifi and a well equipped kitchen. The mattresses were very comfortable and there was plenty of bedding options for different temperatures.

The Château d’Orleix is located 6 km north of Tarbes in the Haute-Pyrenees region of France. It features a terrace and a spa and wellness centre with a hammam, sauna and hot tub.

We had an amazing stay in Chateaux d'Orleix. I was travelling with my 93 year old mom and they went out of their way to help and make us comfortable. They even changed her room to a downstairs one to avoid the stairs for her. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast amazing and very fresh, the croissants are yummy. The facilities, both in the room and outside are great. Nice pool with enough chairs and parasols, barbecue area, games like darts and jeu de boules. Everything very clean and well-maintained. Location is a bit remote in a small village, so car is recommended to visit all the beauty in the surroundings like The Pyrenees, Lourdes, Tarbes and so on. We were very lucky to see all the 14 Juillet celebrations and to visit the concert of Andrea Bocelli in Lourdes. We had an amazing time and cherish the memories. Thank you all staff at Chateau d'Orleix for making our stay unforgettable.

Myriam is the most wonderful beautiful host, she took great care of us even picked us up at the train station. Our luggage was delayed, she drove us to the main shopping area to buy supplies needed. Breakfast is great nothing is too much trouble even after walking all day & arriving back she offered a cuppa. Myriam Thank You for the great care you give to others.
