When I first walked in, I immediately noticed a pleasant fragrance. The gentleman at the front desk was very polite, and the room was incredibly clean.

Room was comfy and clean. Beautiful, nice natural environment with fresh air, and birds chirping in the morning. Excellent breakfast with abundant choices. I tried 3 different choices during my 3-night stay. All fresh and yummy! Hosts were friendly and wonderful! Would certainly stay there again next time.

Such a welcoming place the host couldn't have been more helpful or friendly an absolute star. The room was well equipped, clean and tastefully decorated with a very comfy bed., it made a great place to rest and relax after a long day. The location is a gem. 30 min walk or 20 min at a pace into the central part of Edinburgh. What makes the location great is all the quality independent cafes, shops and restaurants found just at the end of the street. We tried a few and all were exceptional, way better than the tourist traps and tack shops in the royal mile. Recommend Edinburgh Larder if you stay for breakfast. The area is such great headspace after walking the royal mile. Very cute dog too : )

All of the staff were very nice and helpful, the room was nice and spacious with high ceilings, also the location is very central and is walking distance from everything.
