Clean, cozy, warm. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. Lynn was very friendly, accommodating and hospitable. Location was well within walking distance to the downtown and famous Elgin Cathedral. This Bed and Breakfast is highly recommended.

The house is a perfect place to stay while in Elgin. The owner/host, Peter knows a thing or two about hostitality and is keen to explain the background of his antique furnitures and artifacts in and around the house. This Gentleman goes the extra mile in all he does. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless, you won’t find any spot which is not clean. The breakfast is personalised and served in an antique dining room. Compliments for this gentleman who makes you feel very very welcome and appreciated. Highly recommended to book your stay here.

    This beautiful guest house is at a fabulous location; it's very close to city centre and also to the railway station. Lyn and Lee are fabulous hosts; they are so very kind and welcoming. Everything at the guest house had a personal touch to it... With everything being personally handled by them,... This was inclusive of the Breakfast served which was super delicious. Overall we were very impressed by the arrangements at the guest house and would highly recommend it to everyone.

    Beautiful old building with comfortable and high standards rooms, delicious breakfasts and first of all the great hosts :) The building is located near the city center and near to restaurants. It a good point to explore the surrounding area as well

    The Pines was excellent. The building is beautiful and charming as are the interiors. Our room was spacious and comfortable, as well as quiet. Host Lyn and Lee were incredibly welcoming and helpful with suggestions for evening meals.
