The room was beautifully done, attention to detail was lovely. The outdoor space was great and the bed and bedding were superb. Also the location was perfect, quiet but a very short walk to town centre, less than 10 mins. Perfect. Would definitely go back.

- Chris is a naturally gifted host. Gives great advice about the area, is very calm and really makes you feel right at home. Cat "Patch" is an adorable and very gentle sidekick. - Lots of information of the city and surroundings available in the room and common area. - The whole place was super-hyper-clean. - Bed was super comfortable and smelled really good, as did the towels. - Chris hands out a long list of breakfast options every day to choose from. Preparation and presentation was excellent and really something to look forward to. - Attention to detail, available toiletries and some drinks & chocolates, yum!

Me and my husband had been in for one night. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable.( the towels were hot!!😍😍)The staffs are so kind and very polite. Breakfast was delicious. I strongly recommend this place!!

We had a lovely stay at Avalon last week. The room was very clean and comfortable and provided everything we needed. Val was so lovely and welcoming. Short and easy 15-20 mins walk into town straight down the road. The breakfast was amazing and delicious. Would definitely return and recommend!

    The room was lovely and clean, spacious and warm. A comfy bed and a great host. Chris went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and was more than helpful with suggestions and further information. Great location on a quiet road but within easy walking distance of the town centre. Highly recommended if staying in Inverness.

    Very clean room and bathroom. Super comfortable bed and warm and cosy bedroom. The bathroom has a very good shower and all was clean and in good order. Internet was fast and easy. Great location. The guest house is on a quiet road but its very easy to get to the city centre - just a 5 minutes walk to shops, bars and restaurants. The co-op supermarket is in easy distance for snacks etc. The hostess is very charming, and although there was some confusion about the booking it was sorted out easily and gracefully.
