Lovely peaceful setting. Staff are lovely, beds are extra comfortable. It's a community run pub and it's always nice to see people coming together to do things of social good. Breakfast was also delicious!

Host, Leon was excellent from start to finish. He was welcoming, conversational and couldn't do enough to make our stay better. The cooked to order breakfast was outstanding, I think his wife gets the credit for that 😁. Room was comfortable and the little extras, tea, coffee, biscuits and chilled water were all spot on. Would definitely stay there again if in Penrith. Well run place with a great host.

Hostess was very welcoming and went the extra mile for us when we arrived early with a friendly cuppa and access to rooms for us. Rooms very pleasant and beds were fabulous. Nice touches in lounge and bathrooms. Suruchi is an excellent hostess. Breakfast was amazing and the service was great. Quiet rural/country setting with great views. We would visit again if we are back in Keswick.

Penrith is a beautiful little town. I arrived via bus from London. The accomodation was easy to walk to from the train station. I was met so kindly at check in. After a long bus ride and still struggling from jet lag, I had the most amazing sleep. The bed was very comfortable and the area is so peaceful. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. It was a very lovely stay. They were able to assist me with any questions, very accomodating.
