Jackie is absolutely lovely. A fantastic host. Very accommodating. It was a luxury to have parking. The room was very spacious. I didn’t hear a thing and slept like a log. Very clean and comfortable. When I’m back in the area I’ll def book again ( also loved the view of her wonderful back garden. Wonderful to wake up too) Also lovely and warm ans was spoilt by the large double bed x

Staying at 40th Avenue was such a nice experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. The place has a warm, homely vibe that instantly makes you feel comfortable. My room was clean, quiet, and cozy—nothing fancy, but just right. The bed was comfy, and I appreciated the little touches like fresh towels and a well-kept bathroom. Everything felt thoughtfully taken care of. The host was kind, helpful, and genuinely cared about making sure I had a good stay. The location worked out perfectly for me—peaceful, but still close to everything I wanted to see. It was nice coming back to somewhere calm after a day of exploring. Breakfast in the morning was simple but tasty, and there was always tea or coffee available, which I loved. Honestly, I left feeling refreshed and grateful. If you’re looking for a place that’s more personal than a hotel and full of warmth, I’d definitely recommend 40th Avenue

We loved how tje property was connected with the tube! The staff is very approachable, and kudos to DITA! Loved her so much! Very polite and approachable, even offered us and early breakfast since we had to leave early! Room is spacious and clean! Bed is comfortable! Prices in the pub are also quite good! Oh and the garden is the best part of the whole property! We were sitting around even after the pub closed!
