Last time I stayed in Dagenham the hotel was okay but this is exceptional clean tidy modern great facilities a garden parking was no issue and the transaction in communication absolutely spot on which is important when you traveling you need quick response especially as I leave my booking to last minute, I appreciate the work that's gone into this property thank you for making it such a nice stay.

I loved the cleanliness of the little flatlet, and also smells very fresh, I saw a sign.of aerating the flat by opening the windows. The lodge is not far from Woolwich arsenal for trains to the Central London , South eastern rail and Thameslink that goes to London Pancras and DLR via East London to central London ,Royal arsenal for Elisabeth line and the ferry. The Lodge is in the perfect location. The owner was a very pleasant lady.It is the gem to be at,when one needs a stay.

Last minute find. Provided me with a great nights sleep. The shower is amazing. Very spacious too. Place was spotless.

The hotel is an old coaching inn used by pilgrims to Canterbury (among others) in the past. We were walking the Pilgrims' Way from Southwark to Canterbury so the hotel seemed appropriate place to break our journey. We didn't eat our evening meal there but the breakfast was plentiful and delicious and kept us going throughout our following day's walk to Otford. Staff were also very helpful.
