Fantastic hotel in the middle of York. Friendly and attentive staff that are more than willing to help out. Rooms are modern and comfortable. I was in one of the basement rooms with vaulted brick ceilings, while a bit short near the walls (I'm 6'1"), I never had a problem and was very comfortable.

Everything! Loved the place. The staff were all amazing, very genuinely friendly, and going above and beyond for me. (Even after I had just checked out. ) Jamie was delightful. Good to have a chat and a laugh with. I Highly reccommend staying here. Will come back if I get back to York!
