Everything the rooms were tidy, bed was very comfortable the hists were lovely, friendly and polite. The facilities were clean and well maintained, nothing was any trouble, buffet breakfast with the largest array of jams, marmalades marmites and toppings you could wish for. Already looking at staying again. The house is beautiful and old with lovely features

Everything very clean we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Location was perfect very pleasant river walk into town and local attractions free parking an added bonus. The host was friendly and communication before during and after our stay was great Would definitely stay again and recommend

The hosts Roger and Jan are extremely friendly and most obliging. They run a very personal accomodation service. There is a wide choice of both cooked and non cooked food available at breakfast, which cannot be faulted. Roger and Jan's house is immaculate , as is the guest room and the bathroom.

We only spend one night here as last stop before our ferry ride and where positively surprised by the rooms considering this small price. It was clean and we even had a microwave in our room. Easy parking and ckeckin even after 9pm made it the perfect stay for us.

    It was great value with such a friendly host. Please remember that it is a very old property so it won’t have the silence of a specifically built modern hotel or the impersonal taste. It was quaint and unique and the scrambled eggs on toast were delicious

    Loved the quirky house. The welcome with a glass of home made wine was great. This guest house is different to a modern hotel, the age makes it really interesting. The host, Terry, was lovely & very knowledgeable about the area. We didnt have cooked breakfast though offered, but lots of choice of cereals, juice etc. Great stay, highly recommend.
