What a gem of a place! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. The rooms are absolutely beautiful - so tastefully decorated, with an eye for detail that speaks of real care and creativity. Waking up to those views felt like a gift - peaceful, expansive, and breathtakingly beautiful. Whether we were gazing out the window or stepping out to explore, we felt deeply immersed in the beauty of the surroundings. But what made our stay truly exceptional were the hosts. The attention to detail is incredible, the views spectacular (lucky guests will see porpoises frolicking just off the coast) and the proprietors made me feel at home. The breakfast buffet is excellent as is the self service bar. Would definitely come back here.

Such a lovely and comfortable place. Spacious, bright very clean rooms with toiletries and other amenities (including two drums of whisky!!! which was very much appreciated) to make your stay memorable. The location is convenient, 1 min drive outside Ullapool, with a stunning view over the mountains. Would 100% come back here in our next visit to Ullapool.

Warm and genuine welcome. Very clear introduction to the accommodation and very knowledgeable about the local area and facilities.Very comfortable beds. Good selection of food for breakfast. Spacious room with great view of the surrounding hills. Kind of wished we'd paid the extra £20 for the room with the sea view because the outlook from the front is wow!

We had a great stay at Eilean Donan Guest House. The location is excellent – very central, which made it easy to explore Ullapool on foot. Our room was modern, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The shower was fantastic – powerful and just what we needed after a day out. Breakfast was tasty and offered a good variety, and our host was very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We’d happily stay here again and can definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Ullapool.
