Friendly, warm and inviting atmosphere. Hands down the best bed we’ve had over the last month of traveling. Room was spacious, spotlessly clean, ceilings were high and we had a balcony. Had dinner in the restaurant- absolutely delicious on par with the fabulous breakfast included with our stay. But our true highlight was the fabulous staff because without them it would have only been brilliant not spectacular brilliant .

The cooked breakfast was really good. Real homemade food and not the usual buffet style you get in so many hotels. The room had a real distinct feel and was really comfortable. The staff was so friendly and attentive. Just a great location and nice hotel. Surely will use this again if we are in the neighborhood, and highly recommend this to others.

A wonderful place to stay that suited me perfectly. I got a room on the top floor with a view over Winchester. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I really liked that there was a pub on the ground floor. That said, while I thought this was fantastic, the stairs leading up from the pub to the upper floor were winding and narrow, so if you have difficulty moving around, you might want to ask for a room on a lower floor.

The interiors were beautiful. Every piece of furniture, every item in the room, and the wall art had been carefully chosen. The staff was charming and very helpful. The dinner we enjoyed at the hotel was delicious and special. We highly recommend this delightful, small inn to everyone.

Very comfortable/well appointed Bedroom/Cabin located at the rear of the garden adjacent to the car park. Exceptional Inn with a relaxed and informal atmosphere and friendly staff, we only booked for 1 night as a stopover but wished we had stayed longer. Evening Meal and Breakfast were both delicious and our dog Flora also enjoyed our stay and the local walks.
