My room was very clean with a lovely modern bathroom. Breakfast in the beautiful conservatory was gorgeous and I loved the building itself with its interesting history. Great location, close to the rail station and to the Barbican where I attended the snooker.

The location was brilliant. Easy to find. Plenty of on street parking and easy walking distance along the river to York town centre. We didn’t meet Teresa but she was in regular contact and very helpful and friendly. Our room was on the top floor, compact but well appointed, comfortable and quiet.

Excellent and very friendly host Greg x room was ready when we arrived so Greg allowed us to check in very early . Period home. Beautifully decorated for Halloween and excellent location in Fulford York. Very cosy room. Just a short stroll to town centre by the river . We will be back !

It was very close to the centre of York, just a short walking distance from the walls, perfect for a little city exploring. The room was large, clean, warm, and comfortable for two people to share. The bathroom was modern and clean. It was very quiet in the evening in the neighbourhood and I found it easy to sleep there. The beds were clean and comfortable.
