The location is set in a lovely village with incredible views from every direction. It’s walking distance to a few very good restaurants, as well as to Monodendri, where the hike to Vikos Gorge (and other hikes) starts from. It’s very clean and the owner, Petros, is very welcoming and exceptionally accommodating. His daughter Sofia, helps with the management of the guesthouse and is truly amazing, assisting with all my queries. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thank you for the special memories I take home

Fanasis waited for us, welcomed us warmly and helped us reserve and make arrangements for hiking in the area. He answered all our questions patiently and nicely. The rooms are warm, clean, have a great view and are a good value for money.

Amazing accommodation - George and Athina are such wonderful hosts, very generous, kind and absolutely lovely - I felt so much at home and cared for. If I could I would stay for weeks. The rooms are super cozy and comfortable and offer everything you need. The breakfast was delicious, prepared in front of your eyes, huge and perfect for long hikes. When I arrived very late at night I got picked up from George and was taken to the accomodation by a quad as it's located a little bit up the hill. It's the perfect place for hiking, as many paths are starting in Mikro Papigko. Also perfect location for the Zagori Trek which I did. In my opinion Mikro Papigko is cozier and nicer than Megalo Papigko as it is smaller and maybe a little less touristic, just as if you would live here :)

The stone Avragonio is located 300 metres from Papigo Village centre. Built according to the local, traditional architecture, it features accommodation with fireplace and Tymfi Mountain views.

Quite simply - the highlight of our family holiday to Greece. An incredible place to stay beneath Papigo Towers, with wonderful friendly staff with lots of tips and advice (thank you Dina and team) and excellent food and breakfasts. We will be back!
