i love how kind the people running manolia were- they were so helpful and nice to talk to and genuinely so sweet. i’d recommend manolia to anyone and i hope i get to stay here again :-) the room was so spacious and clean and cute!! refreshments provided too.

With respect to the local architecture, the stone-built Nereids Guesthouse enjoys views of the Saronic Gulf and Hydra Town from its furnished terraces.

We were lucky to find this place still available! It’s just a 5-minute walk from the port and easy to reach—no stairs to climb to get there. The room was spacious, airy, very clean, and had a super comfortable bed. No mosquitoes, and some nice bathroom amenities were provided. We even had bottled water waiting for us in the room. The staff was incredibly kind—he helped us carry our luggage upstairs without us even asking. Towels were changed every day, which was a nice touch. Each room has a small patio, and the view from our room was absolutely incredible. He also recommended a few restaurants nearby, and all of them were excellent. The closest beach, Kaminia, is about a 15-minute walk away. You can easily walk everywhere from the property. We stayed for 4 nights and would definitely come back again!

Staying on Hydra was like a dream and the Phaedra Hotel was such a beautiful place - a bit back from the port so very very quiet with beautiful little streets all around, possibility to walk up to the hills behind the town, very close to all the restaurants and shops. Hilda was so friendly, welcoming, helpful with lots of advice and support during our stay.

The stone-built Theano Guesthouse is centrally located in the scenic Hydra Island, within a 10-minutes’ walk from the port.

It is just around the corner from a Leonard Cohen’s home. Very friendly stuff, beautiful settings, clean and functional. I will definitely go back.
