I had a wonderful stay at Katikia Zagori. Tasos is a warm and welcome host, the guesthouse is feels homely and comfortable, the surroundings are breathtaking. Comfortable traditional room in one of the historic Zagorite villages, an excellent starting point for visiting the area (the old bridges Kapetan Arkouda, Kokkoro, Kalogeriko, Agoiu Mina, the villages Vitsa, Kipoi, Monodendri, the Vikos gorge, the Stone forest). That was all because of the bad rainy weather, so we will have to come back to visit the stone hamlets of our Vlach relatives (Aromanians).

The apartments are located on a beautiful complex right in the center of Aristi. They are very tastefully decorated and all have a terrace (some with a mountain view). The breakfast in the restaurant opposite was exceptionally good, plentiful and very typical of the country.

Gaia Guesthouse is located in the well-preserved Dilofo, in central Zagori, 32 km away from Ioannina. It offers traditional rooms with stone-built walls, wooden floors, fireplaces and carpets.

The rooms were amazing, with a dedicated fireplace, very comfortable bed, spacious toilet and shower and furnished in a modern, stylish and prestigious way. The mini bar was very nice with complimentary coffee, tea and water. The breakfast in the morning was lavish, and, to this date, the best I've ever had in a hotel: all fresh and handmade. The view also was spectacular looking into the valley. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff as well that recommended us several treks in the area.
