Stayed for 5 nights. Ida and Suta were really friendly and amazing hosts who always made sure I was happy and comfortable, and organising activities with them was very easy. The rooms are clean and a great size. Would highly recommend staying here!

This is an AWESOME place! A little oasis, very close to one of the little harbours where the boats for Menjangan Island leave from. We had booked a daytrip from Lovina to do the snorkeling, but instead of going back to Lovina afterwards, we had decided to book 3 rooms here for our group of 3. We were thinking of going for a hike in the NP the next day. And boy, were we happy we did! This place is so nice! The rooms are beautiful. Very nicely decorated (we wanted to take all the furniture home with us!), spacious, clean and with a huge bed with a good matras and pillows. The bathroom is spacious and beautiful with marble tiles. This hotel is pretty new (2018). The gardens and the pool are also amazing. Staff speaks English and are super friendly and eager to assist. We found out they offer snorkeling trips with their own boat (incl lunch and drinks) and they can arrange transportation to the main gate of the park, where the trails start, and get you a guide for it. In the evening we asked for a car and we went for dinner at the Mimpi resort, at the Sunset Beach Restaurant. (20 minutes by car). Which is also something to do, because also so beautiful and good food. In the morning we had an excellent choice in breakfast and everything was delicious. Try the dragon fruit juice!

Umah Kayu homestay is a great little find. It is very comfortable and clean. The staff member Wayan is very helpful and kind. I highly recommend staying here. The town itself is also very laidback.

The property was located near warungs, atm, and a supermarket. The stuff was extremely friendly and helpful :). We really enjoyed our time at Titans Greenhouse and I will highly recommend it to anyone visiting Banyuwangi

We really enjoyed our stay at this homestay! Because of the beautiful garden it feels like waking up in the jungle. It is directly at a very wonderful, clean and quiet beach! But the best of the homestay are the people working there! Everyone there is very friendly and welcoming and always doing their best to make every dream come true ;)

A lovely quiet small place with a beautiful view of the sea and lots of jukung fishing boats. A beautiful striated heron came and stood at the edge of the water close to us. Great Indonesian food was available to be delivered using Whatsapp messaging to a nearby restaurant. On the second day that restaurant was closed for a ceremony but they found us another place. Wayan who looked after the place helped us to ring the other place. Disthi is a place that farms baby pearl shells that are taken somewhere else to be seeded to produce pearls when they reach the right size. It was interesting to see the people leaving and coming back from the shell places. It is within walking distance of the place where the endangered Bali starlings are released. The internet seemed good. We did not go on the snorkelling trips but Wayan seemed very knowledgeable and I sure it would have been good. We organised for him to drive us into Gilimanuk in the evening to eat wonderful Ikan Bakar (grilled fish) and crabs that we chose and paid for by the kilo. It was really great to have Wayan as he was so helpful. My friend who travelled with me is a very fit walker and he enjoyed walks to look at birds in both directions from the guesthouse. I am not very mobile and loved the quietness by the water looking at and drawing the boats. There were no outdoor chairs and tables but we asked and were given chairs that we were able to move to follow the shade or to look at the lights on the boats at night. There is a good dining table inside the building but no lightweight table of the right height to move around to sit at to write or draw outside. Wayan kindly brought a large stand out for me but it was a bit high. If there was a moveable outdoor table of the right height it would be a lovely quiet place to spend time writing, drawing and looking at the sea and boats.
