I stayed 3 nights in this wonderful haveli in the heart of old Jaipur. The location is simply perfect for tourists as it is a few minutes away from the top attractions. There is also a lively market next to it, for any need. The haveli was completely restored and it is elegant and comfortable. The hosts welcomed me with open arms and attended to my every need with incredible warmth. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The home stay serves delicious and healthy home-like Indian food. The hosts took the time to chat with me and helped me and other guests participate into the life of the town, by bringing us to the temple and celebrating a festival with us. It was special to experience Indian family life and culture like this. The most special side of this place is the host family, the deep care and love they put in everything: taking care of the place, which is also their home, and of their guests. If you are visiting Jaipur this is definitely the place to stay!

Absolutely stunning property. Modern furnishings and design. Perfectly clean. The room was spacious, had a large TV and coffee/tea making facilities. The beds were large and comfortable, the AC worked well and you can’t hear any outside noise (rare for India) so we slept really well. The bathroom was lovely and shower had good water pressure. Free train station pickup was a nice touch but then they kind of expect you to use the driver for city tours too. We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this property if you’re staying in Jaipur.

We had a short but perfect stay at Doongri House. The room is very spatious and super clean. The host and her staff is super polite and friendly. We loved everything here: in the room, the handmade blanket and curtain, the terrace, the owner, the staff. The location is perfect, near Bapu Bazaar. Don’t be surprised by the entrance. It is a different and amazing world behind the door on 3rd floor of the building. Highly recommend this place for both short and long stay!
