Loved my stay here. The food was amazing! Freshly harvested from the beautiful abundant garden. There’s a pretty patio to sit and enjoy the view or you can stroll around the peaceful village. The staff were lovely, the room was clean,comfortable and nice. Great shower too. Really enjoyed my stay here.

I booked one room for 2 nights but wasn't able to arrive until the second night. I arrived on the second night with friends who also wanted to book a room there. Instead of charging for the second room, they gave it to us for free in lieu of the first nights accommodation (2 rooms for 1 night instead of 1 room for 2 nights). I was very surprised by their generosity as it was my fault that I couldn't arrive the first night. The food was also incredible. Excellent quality and the quantity was insane. It's even more impressive when considering the remotness of the hotel. By far the best accommodation I stayed at during my entire holiday throughout India and Nepal. The customer service couldn't have been better.

I became heavily sick at my arrival and the host family took gently care of my wellbeing until I recovered. They refused to take any charges for this additional service. The elder of the house has written a book about Nubra valley in the change of time a MUST READ!

The communication was great with Otsal, the lovely owner, contacting me the day before to check all was well with the booking. He welcomed us at the door and took us to the bedroom and showed us everything. Despite this being in a fairly basic town, the property had the fastest internet we have ever experienced in our many trips to India. The shower was hot and the breakfast was delicious - oh yes, we had the lovely surprise of getting a delicious breakfast cooked by Otsal's very friendly mom. HIGHLy RECOMMEND
