Bobby was a great host. Jack of All Trades and A One Men Army. He tried to accommodate all our request whilst doing many other things. He personally made us breakfast although i don't think they generally have the service as they did not have a menu. He asked us what we wanted and made some good food for us. He also tried to arrange an Auto driver to take us around and as it was last minute no one was available especially no one who could communicate in English and he decided to drive us around himself in his auto as we were strapped for time as we were only there for a day. He juggle between taking us and dropping us off at places of interest and checking in other guests at his property as it was fully booked when we were there. He would drop us off and we would call him once we were done and he would come and fetch us and drop us off at the next destination. He also spoke great English and was very knowledgable about the area. He also arranged transport to take us to the train station in the early hours of the morning.Thank you Bobby for everything. View of the Palace and overall city was great from terrace both at night and during the day time.

We loved everything..the location..the view the room..the fact that it is 200 year Haweli and was added in guiness book ..the ambience and specially the owners ..Mr.Randheer and his family ..they are so warm and welcoming..it was my daughter's birthday,they arranged a grand party with cake and bornfire and joined us..and unlike hotels we had good privacy as well..the room has a good big LED and some cool ancient pieces of art and reading books..and photos of his great grandfather,the doors the jharoka with windows ..and hot water for drinking and any service we ask for...the washroom also was clean...We had a wonderful experience..felt like we were staying with close friends..the wonderful view from terrace of city palace is another attraction..the place is really easy to approach and it just took a walk for shopping cool items.We had a wonderful experience.thank you Mr.Randheer and family for such a royal treatment

this place will give you a feeling of real India… it has something that foreign backpackers love. the atmosphere inside is very good, even though the windows face traffic (lake is also there), there is a sense of peace. the place is small so there will be no indian hangout (many hotels in udaipur have very noisy indian guests with alcohol).

This guest house is the top notch. Everything was so nice. The room was bright and clean+ comfortable bed. Raj was very polite and good host. They also have a very nice rooftop terrace with and an amazing view. And if you get hungry you must try chef Umesh's food which will make your tummy happy :) Definitely recommend!

the guest house is well located to visit the city, it's clean, they were helpful and nice, there was a problem with electricity but they fixed it really fast, hot water, you can have your breakfast on the terrace with a really nice view, good value

A hotel right in the heart of Udaipur. We took the option with a terrace and view on lake and it was totally worth it. The view was absolutely breathtaking. On the top of that Nice host, ready to help with anything. Food in the restaurant on the rooftop tasty. Rooms simply but sufficiently equipped, airconditioning working well. Clean room and bed, bottles of water prepared for you.

If you want to travel in India never meeting real Indian people don't come here. The hotel is the genuine article. Incredible staff, beautiful room, really warm and hospitable place. I was invited to join the chef and his friends on the roof to celebrate a bachelors party. All of the food home cooked, the manager and owner turned up. Only stay here if you want to me authentic people on your trip to India otherwise stay in a 'palace' somewhere else. Can't recommend them highly enough.
