It’s quaint right outside of town. We were there in October and drove through a blizzard (literally) and got there a little late so we didn’t see anyone but a cute little sticky with a room key with our name. The shared kitchen had everything needed to cook a nice meal from the grocery store just 1/2 mile away. We had room 4 which had a great picture window where we did see northern lights. Now it is a converted cow shed so not a typical hotel so go with mindset of a unique Iceland experience.

The location was perfect, horse ranch nested against mountain with waterfall, the whole property was wonderful and the owner took great pride in upkeep. The visit to the green house was also awesome

The owners were the friendliest people I have ever met during my travels. Parking was right outside the room, so having heavy luggage was no problem. The bed was stiff and super comfortable, exactly how I like it.

I loved the little cabin feel. I loved the toilet warmer in the bathroom. The beds were comfy. I loved that it was in a quiet location without too much light pollution. We were able to see the Aurora Borealis right from the end of the driveway!
