It is a great place to stay. There is enough space for family of four in the room. Nice little restaurant with great meals. Attentive set of people serving and they do show care. We enjoyed our breakfast. It is close to many attractions too.

The house was excellent. It is located in a private area in a lava field and is surrounded by low trees. It has a large common living room with an open kitchen. The living room had large glass openings and we could see the trees. It also has a very large balcony with a table and chairs to enjoy nature. The entire house is surrounded by a he living room had large glass openings single balcony with tables and chairs per room. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed to make a full breakfast (eggs, oil, butter, jams, milk, etc.) The room was clean and comfortable. The host was cheerful and gave us information about the area. Lake Myvatn, the baths and the other attractions are very beautiful and worth the stay. Unfortunately when we went the Grjotagia cave was closed, but we were compensated by the other attractions.

Eldá Guesthouse is located in Reykjahlíð, just a few minutes on foot from Lake Myvatn. There is a golf course 750 metres from the property. Each room includes a work desk, a wash basin and free WiFi.

Everything was super fine, Elda and her family are lovely and so kind. We really felt at home sipping hot choccolate watching the Northen Lights directly from our window! It's been special and Elda is a special human as well :)

Comfortable room with all that we needed. Heater had temperature control, which was great! Appreciated the heated toilet floor very much - made the stay extra comfortable!

Breakfast was better than at a five-star hotel, bed was super comfy, shower was shared, but very clean and comfortable. The place is not a "guesthouse", it is a first-rate hotel!

Everything! It is a beautiful guesthouse, such a great stay we had! Very cosy room, good beds, great shower, cute horses on the land. Wonderful is the hot tub, sitting there at night under the stars waiting for the northern light:-) The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast very good, they were so nice to us. We are vegetarian so they made us scrambled eggs without the bacon, so sweet! Hard to leave this place, will definitely be back when in the area again. Thank you!!
