Great location, quiet but walkable to the center and BSI. Common spaces were kept clean and other guests were quiet. Smoothie and coffee was a perfect way to start my day. Friendly staff, helped me borrow a bike to explore the city.

The host is very responsive, answering all my questions quickly through chat. Due to changes in our hiking schedule, the host kindly allowed us to adjust the dates of our stay, which we really appreciated. They even offered to store our luggage while we were away on our hiking trip, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room is well-equipped, and has everything you need.

The property was spacious and in a perfect location, right in the heart of the city centre. It was also super clean and had a dining table, kitchen and large bathroom so was the perfect size for our group of 3. The hosts were also very helpful and were quick to reply. They also allowed us to drop our luggage off several hours before check in which we really appreciated.

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Reykjavík, Ubak Guesthouse is a guest house surrounded by views of the inner courtyard.

Really great stay. Place was super clean, the beds amazing and kitchen and bathrooms had all the amenities needed and were spotless. The host was very accommodating and the location can’t be beat. We loved staying at this guesthouse. It was perfect location to the main downtown area, bus stops and cafes. The place was exactly what we needed and comfortable. There was coffee and tea for you to have when leaving in the morning and a clean kitchen area. The home was also so warm which was great to come back to after a long day trip! I would definitely stay again here!
