La Casa Rosa was a huge positive surprise for us. If only had we known how nice this place was beforehand, we would've booked for more nights. First of all, the house is in a very calm hill, surrounded by nature. The hills' view from the windows gave us the nicest wake ups. Maria Paola is very sweet and full of resources and tips. If she recommends you a place to eat or where to go, trust her! Otherwise, just stay in for dinner, Andrea's food will be on top of your list of best Italian food ever had (although I'd advise not to eat beforehand, as you'll get lots of food). The swimming pool was a nice place to relax on warm days. Here you can lay on a sunbed (or under a parasole) and read a nice book with the relaxing sound of crickets in the background, or play pingpong if you'd like to be more active. The house is very close to the Cinque Terre, nice for a day trip(s) (19 kms from Levanto, where you can take the train or ferry to the Cinque Terre). Extra tip: go to Brugnano in the evening. It's a pittoresque old village, you'll fall in love with it in its small streets. Extra extra tip, for meat lovers: have dinner at the "Bisteccheria" in Brugnano, you'll not regret it. Located up a quaint alley in the heart of the old town, Georgio will tell you it’s the oldest in the village, but it has been beautifully modernised. Light, airy and convenient. I have never seen a cleaner room. The bathroom surfaces literally gleamed. Georgio will feed you breakfast whilst entertaining you. Be careful! He will keep feeding unless you say stop! He also has a wicked sense of humour and delights in being puckish. He’s an absolute delight. So helpful and engaging.

The accommodation was spotless and very well maintained. Great bathroom with a good-sized shower! Although no breakfast is stipulated, Stefano the host would deliver some croissants and /or focaccia fresh from the bakery for breakfast. You could enjoy this with the tea and coffee making facilities in your room. Great value for your money.

I really loved everything, you could see that the hosts thought about every detail to make the guest feel like home, it was very cosy, very clean and had everything you’d need for your stay( even a tooth brush with tooth cream in case you forgot yours), also they picked me up from the station and offered me to pick me up from the beach whenever I’d like to. Very kind and I totally recommend!
