Our stay in Room Fornillo at the hotel exceeded all expectations. The hotel itself is even more beautiful than the photos, with everything spotlessly clean and an amazing view. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. It’s conveniently located near Fornillo Beach, which is quieter and more comfortable than the main beach. Ask the reception about renting a boat—it truly elevates the Positano experience.

The location was amazing, views were incredible, and our hostess was phenomenal. I can’t recommend this stay enough.

My second stay at Baia D’Amalfi with the lovely owner, Maddalena. I specifically came back to spend more time at this hotel on the Amalfi coast. It could not be more central, looking directly onto the water. A two minute walk to the pier complete with a sitting area on a balcony with tables and an ocean view. Pick up some supplies from the local shops and enjoy a bottle of wine here for a fraction of the cost and with much more privacy than eating in the middle of town. Maddalena makes sure you have her number if there is anything you need and gives the best recommendations. I checked out at 10am on my final day but my flight wasn’t until 10pm and she graciously let me charge my phone and refresh in the lobby after parasailing. She is just the sweetest and works so hard to make your stay the best. A small note is that it is on the 3rd floor with no elevator and North Americans - please don’t expect the Ritz in the middle of NYC! This is a historic building on a historic coastline and the eccentricities and quirks of the hotel reflect that, just as one would hope when coming on such a holiday. It feels like such a rich part of the culture and coastline. The air con was fabulous, the location divine, and I caught the most amazing view of the super moon above Amalfi from my room. Again, this is my second time at this hotel and for good reason, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else and my only fear writing this review is that it will become so popular it will be hard to get a room here for what has now become my annual Amalfi trip. The host was very welcoming and accomodating to our needs. The location was absolutely perfect, we could walk everywhere with no problems. The room was also extremely clean and very comfortable. Perfect stay, will return!

We had a wonderful stay at Grace Suites. A big thank you to Grace for her friendliness and hospitality – she made us feel welcome from the very first moment. The location is excellent, right in the center, so everything is within walking distance while the suites remain quiet and relaxing. The building itself is old in the best possible way, full of character, and the rooms are beautifully renovated with a tasteful modern touch. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and carefully maintained. We truly appreciated the warm atmosphere and the perfect mix of tradition and modern comfort. We would gladly stay again and highly recommend Grace Suites.

very nice and very clean hotel room near the regional train that connects Napoli and Sorrento. The house and room were quiet which is great after a warm day of sightseeing and queuing around with all the other tourists and dodging creative drivers. castellamare was great as a base for us because there are many restaurants and cafés and there is a public transport connection. the bathroom was very pretty and functional with a big shower, bidet,storage drawers. the host communicated with us on whatsapp and we got very detailed instructions for the self check in and prompt and friendly answers to any questions. :) our personal highlight were the welcome snacks and drinks that are included in the hotel price.

We had the most wonderful 6-night stay at Palazzo Vitagliano. Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the location couldn’t be better – right in the heart of Amalfi yet quiet and peaceful. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and the bed was excellent, ensuring great rest after long days of exploring. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. Maria, Ilenia, Pina, and Angelo were simply the best – always kind, warm, and genuinely attentive. They constantly asked how we were doing, helped us with anything we needed, offered great suggestions, and even arranged things for us with a smile. Their hospitality went above and beyond. Breakfast was outstanding, with everything fresh and delicious, and we loved the unique self-service hotel bar open 24/7 – such a fun and thoughtful idea. Every request we had was met immediately with a solution. This was truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had, and we will definitely return without hesitation. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the entire team for making our stay in Amalfi so special
