When you meet Bader our host you are greeted by a friend. A most welcoming friend caring deeply for your well being! We asked if we could check in really early and he said yes immediately - even though finally we made it to Wadi Musa later. He even texted us for the exact time, so as to switch on the AC in advance in our room. We found a very comfortable room and we parked the car just outside the location. We were greeted with chilled orange juice and small sweet treats. Even though we could use everything from the kitchen - cooking utensils as well as cooking oil, eggs, hummus, bread and cheese, and also coffee, tea and juice - our room had coffee, tea, cold water and fridge we could use as well. As we had to leave pretty early so as to catch the morning sun in Petra and thus missing the breakfast, Bader, prepared for us breakfast in lunchboxes the night before so that we would have food with us (fresh fruit and snacks!). A superb gesture! Also, even though it would be past our check out time, Bader was really kind as to offer us the chance to take a shower and get a small rest after the Petra hike. Also points for the cleanliness of the place overall as well as our room too and a very good wifi connection.

We had a great stay, Mohammed and his family treat their guests as visitors to their home, Mohammed was always there to help with our visit to Petra. We took breakfast and dinner and enjoyed the best Jordanian food prepared by the family. A real highlight of our visit to an exceptional place.

Shadi is the best of all Petra, the best possible experience for Petra, listen and ask everything you want because he knows Petra better than anyone, born in the mountains of Petra, with him you will be able to see the places that tourists can't reach. Living this experience is essential. Super attentive staff, Jesica is the best, they will make you delicious food with the best views. Remember it, Shadi knows all of Petra better than anyone, and he loves to prove it. Trust him and you will regret it.

Our stay at Petra Magic Guest House was really fantastic. I would recommend this hotel as a little gem, if you want to live an authentic experience this is the place. Faisal and Muna were amazing, we went as guests but now are our friends. Very good location and the rooms are completely new and very clean. Breakfast and dinner are really good because Muna is a very good cooker and my favourite was Mandi. I wish to return soon again to enjoy more days with them.

The host is so sweet en welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and served on the top floor of the building so with beautiful view to start your day with! All day coffee and tea available. Room was super clean en great size. Balcony was very comfortable with an amazing view.

Abu Ali is the best host. Very kind and accommodating. As it was still fresh he even heated up the room for us, so it was cosy when we arrived from Petra. Breakfast is amazing!

Everything was in the studio: Fridge, mini kitchen, terrace, all equipped within the private room. The room was also maintained clean such on the shelves etc, where you can see how much Mohammed cared.

The host was very friendly and interacted warmly with us. I made a mistake in my booking and the host helped me solve it. The rooms are original, you sleep in a cave. They have a heater and they get cozy fast. I recommend the dinner also, it is local food and it has a good price.
