Great choice if you look for a comfy and warm stay at a guesthouse. The owner is super sweet and accommodating, offering quite a few helpful tips for attending the firework ceremony. Both the room and the shared amenities/public area are super clean.

I almost never leave reviews, but I had to make an exception for this place — it’s a true hidden gem that everyone should know about. It was by far my favorite accommodation during my one-month trip in Japan. It feels like staying at your grandma’s house — warm, peaceful, and full of charm. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and having a private room at the end of my trip (instead of dorms) was such a treat — especially since the price is pretty much the same. The owner is kind and helpful, the bathroom gives off Studio Ghibli vibes, and the futon on tatami was more comfortable than any other I tried in Japan. I absolutely loved my stay and highly recommend this place!

Great Facilities, the onsen bath was relaxing. Lovely view from my bed corner to the garden. Most of all, staff/Manager is so friendly and courteous and helpful with local recommendations. Great view of Atami city and beach, especially at night. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay in Atami.

    The traditional style of the Inn was charming and we really appreciated the lovely, friendly and welcoming host. The location is fairly good as only about 7mins from the station. The beach is about 15minutes walk.

    Great guesthouse, top location, secluded and quiet yet still super central. Their Onsen is Beautiful and exactly what is needed after a long day of hiking. They took care of my bag for a few days while I went down the coast, very generous and kind gesture!

    The house is located few minutes walk from the train station, in a quiet street. We stayed in a large traditional Japanese room. Futon beds were comfortable. Host was very kind and affectionate. There is a small onsen bath in the house. We felt like visiting family.

    In a quiet area close to Izu-Taga station, clean, wide and spacious room with a nice view of the ocean. Convenience stores nearby. The host was lovely, he gave us a lift to the station when it was raining.
