The hosts are very lovely. They have bbq facility on site (1500 yen fee) which I highly recommend! It’s nice to have outdoor bbq. However, keep in mind that you will need to bring your own ingredients. To access this accomodation you will require a car as it is a bit far from the downtown.

Great place to stay if you are looking for a Ryokan kind of experience minus the onsen. The location is right in the middle of town. The room was old style with a tatami. Order dinner and breakfast because the experience is worth it and there is nothing open around town.

Very delicious abundant breakfast, warm hospitality, kind service. Special thanks for going and bringing the GoPro camera we forgot at Tateba Teahouse the next morning. A peaceful quiet fairy-tale house in picturesque surroundings. The room is well equipped and the authentic Japan supper was also delicious, and abundant. I recommend it everyone to visit, I hope I can go back sometime in the future.

Such a beautifully designed and spacious home. We felt calm and ‘at home’ as soon as we arrived. Lots of space to spread out. And thoughtful modern furniture ( with Japanese style). Close to restaurants and the suggested local onsen in a campground was great! We are a family of four.
