A home from home with beautiful Japanese style bedrooms. it was our first time sleeping in a futon style bed, I was cynical about how comfortable it would be but it really was the best nights sleep! the kitchen is very well equipped and the hosts are so lovely ! They are happy to run you to and from the station in their car which is about a 30 minute walk from the accommodation .

The first thing to say is that the staff is really friendly and helpful. The location is great, at the heart of the resort, just a couple of minutes walk from the ski slopes. The rooms are simple and comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty. The bath downstairs is spatious and very pleasant and the facilities for skying are very good, with even a drying room for ski gear! It was a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming pension, run by an incredibly kind and hardworking couple. Despite the heavy snowstorm disrupting transportation, they went above and beyond to assist us, ensuring we reached our destination smoothly. Their generosity didn’t stop there—they even brought our skis to the bus station, making our departure hassle-free. The warmth and hospitality we experienced made our trip even more special. Very friendly, family run pension. The staff are extremely friendly and inviting. It is very comfortable and the dinners and breakfasts are delicious, home-made Japanese dishes. Warm and good wifi. Excellent shared bathroom facilities plus a bathing area.

The warmest place we’ve stayed! Staff were really nice and everything was tidy. The room was warmed for us when we arrived and when we returned after skiing it was easy to rewarm the room!

Extremely close to the slopes and bus across to Nozawa. Miki, the host, is exceptionally lovely and helped us with all of our needs. The rooms are clean, with comfortable Japanese futons to sleep on. The heaters worked so well I had to turn them off after an hour or so. Wifi is fast and works well. I highly recommend breakfast and dinner!
