Everything! The apartment is very comfortable, clean, well equipped (has a kitchenette with all types of utensils), and has the best view to the Hakata Beach! The owners are very friendly and offered delicious welcome drink made with local citrus syrup. The apartment is a few minutes walk to the inter-island bus stop and across from the bicycle rental center, making it easily accessible. One night stay was too short... a minimum two nights would have been much better! Definitely coming back here again.

It was in a quiet shopping street/arcade area. The owner was very welcoming, with the place easy to find. It was great value and I was the only one in the room during this evening. Overall, 10/10.

Tomoko was the most beautiful, gracious host and this delicately renovated ryokan was exceptional. We absolutely loved staying here and appreciated every bit of kindness, service and friendship. We went biking and stopped for the night here,about half way. Good location,directly next to the biking path,few biking minutes to the next store. Nicely modernised old house with charm,not too many room so it was a nice atmosphere amongst the guests. Our room was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped and there was a free washing machine and dryer.Staff speak little English but are very well prepared (written explanation cards) and super friendly! Thanks a lot! Totally recommend!

We spent two nights here-- good shower, well-heated rooms, excellent location, and an absolutely darling host. She made us dinner reservations and dropped everything to help us make phone calls when we were looking for a missing item. Felt like staying with my own grandmother!

The dinner and breakfast were absolutely amazing and high quality, made with love. In the USA, it would cost more than the total price of this stay at Sayomi's house. The house is a peaceful location up a hill with incredible views and solitude. It's perfectly clean and the bath facilities are high tech and modern, while the home itself has a warm, traditional and home-like feel. Sayomi is incredibly kind and generous. The food is unbelievable. She doesn't speak much English but will still try and communicate in a friendly way, and you can have a good conversation with translator apps. There's also a massage chair and the bath is great for after a long bike ride. Staying here fueled me to finish the difficult bike ride and it is one of my highest recommendations in Japan.
