We stayed during the off-season in early September and had the best summer holiday with them. There’s a terrace downstairs with an exceptional view of Kabira, and the facilities were spotless. Most of all, the owner and his family truly made our stay special—they lit up our entire holiday in Kabira. I’ve never met such kind and accommodating people. I’d 100% recommend this place to anyone wanting to experience the local vibe and enjoy snorkeling or diving, as they’re experienced divers themselves.

The location is great, 10 minute walk to the ferry terminal, which I used quite often as I used Ishigaki mainly as a hub between the other islands. There are also lots of eating and drinking spots in walking distance, plus some convenience stores and a supermarket. Kishaba the owner was very kind and helpfull and even took me on a mango picking tour (only during mango season). The room was great and during the time of day when you’re usually at the hostel the aircon is free so it’s quite the relief from the heat when you get back. The shower facilities were nice and clean and the washing machine and dryer were quick and efficient. Overall I had a great stay and if I come back to Ishigaki I will definitely stay here again.

This guesthouse is truly a hidden gem in Ishigaki, perfectly located in the center of the main town and easy base to visit all there's to see in the island. The guesthouse has been very recently opened and everything is in excellent condition, and the owner is very friendly and attentive to his guests needs. I can only recommend for any budget-conscious traveler in Ishigaki!

Large traditional room, with a good bathroom and space for a desk. Separate entrance from the owner’s property. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the owners very kind. The location was perfect for exploring the island, a bike is available to rent from the owner very cheaply.

Excellent value for money Fantastic location - literally about 3/4 mins walk to the port. Convinient if you’re doing a day trip trip to Iriomote, Taketomi etc. Restaurants, bars and Family Mart even closer. Very lovely owners.

The host comes in everyday to thoroughly clean and wipe the room, which is really nice. The location was also good, a lot of things were in walkable distance and if they weren't the next bus stop wasn't far. The terrace of the guest house is really comfortable and when we were there the other people staying at the guest house were super friendly - We even found a new friend who we spontaneously traveled around Ishigaki with.

The guesthouse is a 12 min walk to the ferry and has many locals restaurants nearby. The conbini is a 5min walk. The owner speaks English and is very kind. What exceed my expectation was their towels. The towels were so absorbant and soft. The room we had was spacious and had many hooks for hangers. The beds and pillows were comfortable and I had a good night of rest. The kitchen has many pots and utensils as well as seasonings, so making breakfast was easy. They have bike (no gear mamachari) for rental for very cheap but borrow at your own expense. My chain came off on the ride and the light ran out of battery. Ishigaki is relatively flat unless going to Banna park which I did, and it was not the best bike for it.
