Nice and very affordable guesthouse near train station and Bamboo Forest. Masumi is a wonderful host! She made the extra mile to make me feel at home. She offered toast and hot macha when I arrived. We had a great stay with the homestay, very clean and new facility, friendly and helpful host. the location is great, perfect for exploring Arashiyama early morning to avoid the crowd. We will love to come back and stay if we have a chance.

The owner was very welcoming and responsive, which I truly appreciated. The room itself was lovely, with private shower and toilet. There’s also a kitchen available for guests. And I also enjoyed the pleasant incense on the first floor :)

Beautiful family and room perfect. They drove us to the train station in a new Tesla, which was appreciated after lots of walking around.

Wonderful little hotel with amazing rooms like tiny apartments with everything you need..kitchen, washing machine, comfy beds, little things provided like coffee, tee, detergent, slippers, shower gel,...very nice staff...about 10min walking from train station...on the way there we saw one street with so many little restaurants...gion is quite a walk about 40min but we enjoy seeing the city like this...very clean, really highly recommended
