A modern and very clean hostel, not far from convenience store and restaurants, very friendly staff, comfortable beds with curtain for privacy, free tea and coffee available. In the early morning the owner drove me and another pilgrim to Fujidera, which saved us 45 min walking on this tough day!

Older, but clean and cosy authentic japanese house. It felt like a visit to grandma’s home. Also the owner was very nice lady. Just everything we were looking for - something authentic, away from tourists and big cities. The town and its people are also very welcoming.

The guest house was equipped with all the amenities one might need for a pleasant stay, the room was comfortable and the price to value is fantastic. Furthermore the accommodation is not very far from the station, so staying mobile is made simple, and the Awaodori Kaikan which grants access to Mt. I was very late because I had problems arriving, so I was coming at 1:30 at night instead of 21:00 the evening before. The owner still was very friendly and explained how to find everything. I recommend this place

It was nice to have an entire place to ourselves and several bunk options so we could space out. All the options of games, books, music and gaming consoles is awesome but we didn't know how to connect the devices up (a manual would be nice).
