The owner was very welcoming and responsive, which I truly appreciated. The room itself was lovely, with private shower and toilet. There’s also a kitchen available for guests. And I also enjoyed the pleasant incense on the first floor :)

We had a perfect stay at Haruka House. We had everything we needed. Cleanliness 100% Haruka and Ryoma are so kind and welcoming, which made us feel at home right away. Location is also very convenient with Restaurants and Mini-Marts nearby and also the Hankyo Line within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for everything!!

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, giving us useful advice on how to move around the town. Emiko speaks very good English. The hotel room looks just like in the photos posted on their website, and everything is very clean. The breakfast was fresh and slightly different each morning. The hotel is also well placed, just a few minutes walking from the bus station and the Keihan train Line (which reaches many touristic objectives in the city and up to Osaka).

The hotel is located to the south of the Kyoto Imperial Palace and is very close to the subway station. The rooms are spacious and feature a classic Japanese-style bathroom. With four beds, it is perfect for families or groups of friends traveling together. The hotel's front desk staff are very friendly and can store luggage for guests. Overall, the experience was excellent.

Everything was great, the staff, (I think father and son) are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The location is very near to the most beautiful temples in the city, it has few bikes you can use as well, and a bus stop around the corner.

I experienced the highest standards of hospitality at this beautiful traditional ryokan. Extremely kind owners who tried their best to accommodate my needs and exceed my expectations. Morio San and Yoshiko San are like my family. They also have a cute puppy Fu Chan. Top quality room and facilities too. Highly recommended. It will be one of your best memories of Kyoto!
