What an amazing accommodation! Beautiful traditional room. A place to relax and recharge. Futon beds were super comfortable, probably the best sleep I’ve got in a while. The Japanese garden was absolutely stunning. You can see that there is a lot of thought and attention put into the interior and exterior design. We opted for the Japanese breakfast and it was incredible. Delicious and well presented meal that can be enjoyed while looking at the beautiful garden. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Definitely a recommendation from us 10/10.

In the Shuzenji Onsen district of Izu, close to Shuzen-ji Temple, Hostel Knot has a shared lounge and a washing machine.

the location was amazing. It’s perfect if you want to discover shuzenji-onsen, hike up the mt. daruma and soak up the beautiful view of mt.fuji or simply enjoy the lovely onsens in the region.

It feels incredibly authentic. For anyone staying here, I'd just say trust the process, the host is the sweetest little old man who hosts really fun karaoke evenings. It wasn't what we expected going into it but this place gave us some great laughs and memories for life.

Such a unique place. Enjoyed finally having some comfy couches to relax in! Very well fitted out with absolutely everything you could need. Centrally located to all the sights. This would be a great place for a group of people as there is so much seating and even two kitchens. Highly recommend.

I was there for 2 nights. The staff had a very good english, very nice people, the room was comfy and clean. It's located on a bit of a steep hill but they let you know about it beforehand so you come prepared. I had a very good time there, they had a bar with good prices. There is a Lawson and 7/11 a few minutes away by walk. Will come again if I ever come back to hakone.
