Everything! This was on my bucket list for a very long time. Spending a night in the very house that the legend Geoffrey Bawa lived & worked was in itself a moving experience. Beautifully maintained by the trust. Every corner, every piece of furniture & art has a story to tell. Staff is wonderful & breakfast was delicious. Can't wait to return to Colombo & stay here again.

Amazing hotel! A piece of the jungle in the city center! Monkeys, squirrels, parrots and many more) Everything is so beautiful and authentic. Very welcoming and friendly staff❤️‍🔥 They met and served a welcome drink. We took a room with a jacuzzi, a fabulous room. The room includes slippers, bathrobes, hairdryer, beach towels in a basket and an umbrella. Great pool. Breakfast and dinner were requested in the room. Amazingly delicious breakfast, the hotel cooks delicious food. I’m just in love with this hotel 💔 I will definitely stay there again. Thank you very much to the entire team of this hotel!

Staying at 55TG boutique from April 2nd to 3rd, 2025, was the perfect way to conclude our Sri Lankan adventure. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer! We arrived early from Tangalle, and the staff kindly allowed us an early check-in to our room, the "Art Suite with a beautiful Garden View". It was beautifully decorated, spacious, and impeccably clean. We initially found the wifi signal weak, but our host, Dilshan, immediately demonstrated his exceptional attentiveness by bringing a router directly to our room, which resolved the issue completely – we had a great connection afterwards! The service from Dilshan and his crew throughout our stay was outstanding; their attentiveness made us feel like we were guests in a 5-star restaurant. The food was another major highlight. While seafood wasn't available on the menu during our short stay, the team was very accommodating and even offered to purchase alcohol externally for us if needed. We had lunch, dinner, and breakfast there, and everything was absolutely delicious. The fish curry and rice at dinner was genuinely the BEST meal we had during our entire trip! They even made the setting incredibly romantic, decorating our table with rose petals. As if that wasn't enough, they surprised me on my birthday morning! I certainly wasn't expecting techno birthday music to accompany my scrumptious breakfast – it was such a fun and unexpected touch. It made our early departure for the airport feel even more bittersweet, and we truly wished we could have tipped Dilshan and the staff more generously for their fantastic service. The grounds were quiet and private, contributing to a very peaceful atmosphere and a great night's sleep. Our stay felt far too short but was simply wonderful. Staff were lovely, welcoming and very helpful. Great place for a layover in Colombo or longer. The hotel was very accommodating and helped us with our onward travels to the south as well.

Looking for history without kitsch I discovered this discrete Guesthouse . Away from the crowds of Colombo, the spacious room and antique charm gave me a fantastic rest after exploring Sri Lanka’s capital. With all the qualities of a classic hotel I could enjoy style and comfort while maintaining the privacy of home.

The location is excellent. The room was exactly what we need: spacy, clean, all the equipment that we always need. A hot water electric kettle, coffee, tea, sugar, milk, including two bottles of water. A working refrigerator. Excellent bath room with hot water. Air conditioning. WiFi worked well. Excellent European breakfast. Very friendly staff.

I stay lots of property for me this is the best for your peaceful sleep. Actually before allowing me they informed me clearly check out time but I sleep until noon time i respect him because gentleman behaviour he’s excused me and talk with smiley face thank you very much sir
