Everything was perfect about our stay! The rooms very huge, clean, bright, they had everything you needed (AC, fan, net, mini fridge) the bathroom was also very nice and clean and the view was amazing!! We also loved the location, its around 30 min on scooter (the owner helped us with renting a scooter) to Ella, which we did not mind as we hate loud and touristic places like Ella. This place was thus perfect for us to relax and unwind and hide from all the tourism and commercialization. The breakfast were perfect, so so delicious and fresh!! And the owner and the boys were all very kind, helpful and nice. They even made us dinner one day and booked a tuktuk for us on last day as we needed to catch early train to Kandy. Overall it was perfect stay and I would recommend it to everyone!

We had such a lovely stay at Wingate Homestay. The owner was so kind and welcoming, and she cooked us a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast every morning, always with plenty of fresh fruit – a real highlight of our stay! The room was charming and comfortable, with a mosquito net and a fan to keep things cool. The bathroom was modern and clean, with reliable hot water in the shower. The location is excellent – just a 5-minute walk into the main town, making it easy to explore Ella while still enjoying a peaceful setting. We originally planned to stay for a shorter time but ended up staying 3 nights because we liked it so much. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Ella!

Perfect location, great views, near railways, so you can see the trains passing by. In 7 minutes you can walk to Ella. The other way on the railway will bring you to the waterfall en Ella Rock. When you just passed the trainbridge, go down, and ask the women for guiding you to a beautiful viewpoint. On your own its difficult to find. Breakfast is good. The caretaker Lashman is gentle and tells a lot of things to visit/to do. From were you will have breakfast, the view uphill is lovely, looks like a jungle. We parked our tuktuk just across the railway.

Staying at Third Eye Ella was an excellent experience from start to finish. The room was impeccably clean and extremely well-equipped, making for a comfortable and convenient stay. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights of my stay was the breathtaking view from the balcony. From this vantage point, I could see Ella Rock, Ravana Falls, and railway tracks, which added a unique charm to the scenery. The service at Third Eye Ella was very good. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, always going above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying, offering a great start to the day. The location of Third Eye Ella is excellent, situated conveniently close to the town. This made it easy to explore Ella and its surroundings without any hassle. The owner are very friendly and helpful. You will stay in a nicely tended accomodation with terrace. You are in the center by feet in 5 minutes. You can choose your breakfast and we would recommend the tasty Sri Lankan breakfast.
