The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. Lagoon Inn has a very relaxed vibe, and the hosts, Kamal and his wife, are beautiful people and very helpful when it comes to tips about the area, transport, etc. Kamal organised our safari and it was fantastic. It was very relaxing and it felt like we had the park to ourselves, unlike the larger, better known parks. Hosts welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable, especially on the birdlife having worked as a guide at Bundala National Park. The accommodation which included air conditioning was great too. The location is ideal being within walking distance to Bundala National Park.
