Unlike anything I’ve seen before. Rooms and common areas are artfully decorated with trinkets from around the world. My room was overlooking the lake and it felt like I was living in the jungle, surrounded by plants. Bed was super comfy and the rain shower was great. The pool and view over the lake were incredible. Staff were attentive and friendly. Food was delicious, we had plans to head out to Colombo but decided to stay and enjoy the property and had all our meals there. A personalised experience with great hosts, thanks for everything!

Loved our stay in this beautiful house. TJ and his staff were fantastic and made stay here very comfortable. TJ was a mine of very interesting information on Colombo and the history of this house. We were fortunate enough to stay when the house was used for wedding photography which gave us an unique insight to Sri Lankan weddings. We were served Sri Lankan breakfasts by Dilshan who explained all the dishes to us and don’t forget to take a dip in the pool.

This is a very comfortable and private living space in a suburb of Colombo, set in a traditional home surrounded by a vibrant green environment. My stay was wonderful. The hostess Shiranthi is so kind and welcoming. She really makes you feel like at home. She helped me with the internet, organized some food and had a sweet chat with me. We laughed a lot. The room is simple and it has everything one needs. Definitely recommend! When in Colombo again, I will surely stay with her.
