Super clean and tidy guest house with all the little things to make one's stay more enjoyable (incl. a kettle and a mini fridge). Kenath, the host and owner, does everything to make one feel welcome and was as helpful as possible. The food was super delicious. Very quiet environment. Very good value. We stayed at Sand & Surf for the first and last day of our Sri Lanka trip and were very comfortable there. Owner is very friendly and lives just around the corner if you ever need any assistance. He also let us park our tuktuk safely in the property. Room has everything you need, clean, AC, good bathroom. Would 10/10 stay there again next time in Negombo.

Everything was great! Very nice and new hotel. Room was huge and very clean. Nice common area. Owners were going an extra mile so everyone could feel welcomed and comfortable. Location also very good. And the price is pretty low.

When you arrive into an unfamiliar country at 4am after 24 hours travel, what you really need is: A clean, friendly, safe environment with a pick up that is guaranteed and hassle free. What we got was exactly this but much more. Deb, the host was smiling when we arrived- no mean feat at 4am. Our room was beautiful and had all facilities including a hot shower( when I turned the dial the correct way. Lol) The property is very stylish. Lots of tips provided. We only spent 7 hours at the property, but it was just what we needed.

What an amazing family and stay here! Roy and his family are very welcoming and helpful, they are full of tips and are always willing to support. The breakfast is delicious with many local fruits and local pancakes. We loved it so much that we will be back to stay here again. It is close to the beach and there are plenty of shops and restaurants around. This is the perfect place to start/finish your time in Sri Lanka
