The wonderful Manager texted me in advance of my arrival time to confirm I was coming, he arranged a Tuktuk to meet me at Badulla Train Station, and greeted me upon my belated arrival ~ prepared a sumptuous breakfast, including early on my departure date, arranged a Tuktuk to take me to the Station ~ I loved the Property and elevated location overlooking lush Badulla.and the surrounding hills...

Lush in Ella is a brand new venue and a true hidden gem in the middle of the jungle. Yet it is very close to the center of the town. The owner Saman and her husband made us feel very special, especially pampering us with delicious homemade breakfasts. Everything was great at this place. The owner is just a wonderful person. She was very welcoming and attentive. The location is a bit isolated, not to close to the maine street, so it's a bit quieter, but not to far either. The breakfast was rich in diversity and taste. All the basic amenities were provided.

Perfect location, great views, near railways, so you can see the trains passing by. In 7 minutes you can walk to Ella. The other way on the railway will bring you to the waterfall en Ella Rock. When you just passed the trainbridge, go down, and ask the women for guiding you to a beautiful viewpoint. On your own its difficult to find. Breakfast is good. The caretaker Lashman is gentle and tells a lot of things to visit/to do. From were you will have breakfast, the view uphill is lovely, looks like a jungle. We parked our tuktuk just across the railway.

My Gf and I recently stayed at the Third Eye Ella and, I must say, we had an absolutely fantastic and relaxing time! The highlight of our stay was the breathtaking view from our room and the delicious breakfast served on the terrace. The room itself was comfortable, providing all the amenities we needed for a cozy stay. Plus, its prime location just a few meters away from the train station and the center of Ella made exploring the area a breeze! Our host, Pubudu, deserves a special shout-out. He welcomed us with open arms and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. Each morning, he brought us a super tasty breakfast, setting the perfect start to our day. Pubudu was always available to answer our questions and offer valuable recommendations, making us feel right at home. And when we mentioned wanting to explore the surroundings, he magically arranged a scooter for us within just 10 minutes. Overall, we can't recommend Third Eye Ella enough. It's a hidden gem with remarkable views, comfortable rooms, and a warm and attentive host. Thank you, Third Eye Ella, for an unforgettable stay. We'll definitely be back!
