Incredible stay! Peaceful in front of the lake and nature! Superbe view for sunset sunrise and breakfast! We had a beer by the lake for sunset and saw water buffalo and monkeys! Very well located close to the bus station to/ from Dambulla, restaurants and main road to find tuktuk The room has AC, very good breakfast, one of the best of our trip in srilanka! Try the banane pancake! And most importantly incredible staff, very nice, welcoming warm and helpful! Thank you!! Perfect for nature lover

Sahan Guest House was an awesome find! The welcome was warm and genuine — I was even greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, which was a great touch after a long trip. The room was super clean, air-conditioned, and really comfortable. WiFi was fast and reliable, which was perfect for planning my day trips and staying connected. The location is perfect — right in the city, close to everything, and just a short ride to the ancient city. Super convenient if you’re exploring the cultural sites nearby. There’s also fast food and other restaurants nearby if you’re craving a quick bite. Honestly, the hospitality here is top-notch. Sahan and the team really care about their guests. Room is very big, with comfortable beds. Very quiet location. Hot water works very well, there is even a toothpaste. WiFi works very well. We had no mosquitoes. To the historical part you can cycle by bicycle , there is a path, you don’t have to cycle on the highway. The juices are very tasty.
