He contacted us beforehand to learn our arrival time so that he can be present at the house when we arrived. On arrival we were greated with a pot of tea and advice about the area, where to eat and an offer to visit the famous cliff Buddha statues at Buduruwagala. Which are definitely worth the tuktuk trip. Water is always on tap. The Sri Lankan breakfast for 2 cooked by mama host would have been enough for 4. Wonderful! The place is a green oasis in the town centre.
