It's ELEVEN out of Ten. Our room was actually a small bungalow in the grounds, and we had our own outside seating area to drink coffee and eat meals. Cooker, Washing Machine, Air-conditioning, Space, Comfort, WiFi, gated parking; we used it ALL. Situated about 15-minutes from the beach (12-minutes as we walk) it was ideal. Our host told us about the Opera Concert up by the beach so we went up there and were treated to almost 3-hours of quality music. There were cheaper places in the town (even though we had only booked it about 2-hours before we arrived), but I wanted something on the next level and we certainly got it here for a modest uplift in price. For your information, there was a Tirgus (street market) one minute walk from the property which ran for the morning, but I don't know how often it runs. There is also a TOPS supermarket 5-6 minutes walk in the same direction away from the town. Our host was really lovely.

Location was great! Walking distance to the beach. The shared kitchen had everything it needed! We stayed in the family room, which had two separate bedrooms and one shared bathroom.

We experienced hospitality of the highest standard. We felt at ease and well looked after in every respect. Despite the high standard, everything was relaxed, personal and cordial. The hotel pays attention to detail, amenities and aesthetics. A boutique space, intimate, lots of greenery and common areas to meet fantastic people. We enjoyed spending time on the terrace with small swimming pool. I highly recommend it.

I came by train from Riga. The campsite is about an 18-minute walk away, with the sea at a similar distance. The site offers plenty of activities, like SUP boarding, and has direct access to Lake Lielupe. The internet connection is strong enough to work right from the lakeside, which I loved. I could even look straight at the lake from my bed. The host is always present and very helpful. As a solo traveler, I really enjoyed my stay and can’t wait to come back.

Excellent place to stay. The location is great and close to everything. Very cosy and clean room. Big and comfortable bed. I would highly recommend this hotel.
